A lash lift raises your own lashes from the base using a silicone shield and a lotion that sets the curl for weeks. Many people call it a «lash perm», because it works much like a hair perm, but with gentle products made for the eye area.
Once the curl is set we apply tint to darken the tips, which are usually lighter, and a nourishing treatment that keeps the lash flexible. Your lashes look longer because you can finally see their full length: before, they pointed down and stayed hidden.
You wake up with them already curled and dark. If you reach for a curler and mascara every morning, you can skip that step for as long as the effect lasts.
A lash lift suits you if you already have medium or long natural lashes and want them to stand out without wearing extensions. It works especially well in these cases:
If your lashes are very short or sparse, a lift has little to work with. We tell you before we start and show you options such as classic eyelash extensions, which do add length and density.
The main difference is the material: a lash lift works only with your own lashes, while extensions add a fibre bonded to each one. This table sums up what changes in practice:
| Premium Lash Lift | Extensions | |
|---|---|---|
| What we work on | Your natural lashes | Fibre added to each lash |
| Appointment length | 60 minutes | 120 to 150 minutes |
| How long the effect lasts | 6-8 weeks | Infill recommended after 2-3 weeks |
| Maintenance | None | Reduced infill price if you return within 18 days |
| Result | Curl and colour, natural look | More length and density |
If you are torn between the two, we have a full guide on choosing between a lash lift and extensions based on your lashes and your routine.
A lash lift lasts between 6 and 8 weeks because each lash has its own cycle: it grows, rests and falls, and the new one comes through straight. After a few weeks curled lashes sit alongside new straight ones, and that is when you notice it is time to repeat.
Two things make it last longer: looking after it for the first 24-48 hours and not rubbing your eyes when you remove make-up. We explain in detail how often to repeat a lash lift and what shortens it, so you never redo it too soon.
For the first 24-48 hours the curl is still settling, so your lashes need to stay dry and undisturbed. These are the five things to avoid:
After those two days you can carry on as normal. An oil-free lash serum helps keep them flexible until your next lift.
You can book lashes and brows in the same appointment. A popular pairing is the lift with brow lamination, which brushes and sets the brows upwards for the same 6 to 8 weeks, so your whole look changes at once.
You can also add eyebrow shaping with threading or tweezers, designed beforehand. When you book, choose both services back to back. If you pair the lift with lamination, the €79.90 offer applies automatically instead of €99.80.
The Migami Premium Lash Lift costs €49.90 and includes the tint and nourishing treatment, so there are no extras when you pay. Because the effect lasts 6 to 8 weeks, a lash lift has no infill price. If you like, you can book it together with a brow service in the same appointment.
A lash lift done properly and repeated at the right pace, no more often than every 6-8 weeks, does not weaken your lashes. That is why we apply a nourishing treatment after the tint in every session. What does dry them out is repeating it before new lashes have grown or using a curler over the curl.
After a lash lift you can wear make-up on the rest of your face from day one, keeping away from the lashes. Mascara is best left until 48 hours have passed, and many clients stop using it because the tint already darkens the tips. Use an oil-free make-up remover.
A lash lift and a lash perm are the same treatment under two names. The classic perm used rollers that left a very tight curl; the modern lash lift uses flat shields that raise the lash from the root and give a more natural result.
A lash lift needs your natural lashes free, so your extensions have to come off first. Lash removal costs €19.90 and takes 30 minutes. You can have the lift straight afterwards if your natural lashes are in good condition, and we tell you at the appointment whether they are.
One hour, tint and nourishment included, and 6 to 8 weeks without mascara. Choose a day and time from Monday to Saturday and book an appointment online.
