Lash lift, brow design and shaping and brow lamination in a single 90-minute session.
Brow lamination, also called a brow lift, is a treatment that changes the direction your brow hairs grow in for 6 to 8 weeks. One lotion softens the hair, we place it upwards and outwards, and a second lotion sets it in that position.
The result is your own brow, tidied up. There is no pigment in the skin and no false hairs. Hairs that used to fall downwards now cover the sparse areas, which is why the brow looks thicker without adding anything.
If you would rather just shape your brows without laminating them, have a look at shaping and threading on our eyebrows in Andorra page.
Lamination works best on brows with enough hair that grows in the wrong direction. These are the cases where it makes the biggest difference:
Where there is no hair at all, lamination cannot create it. If that is your case, we tell you during the shaping, before we start.
Brow lamination costs €49.90 and the appointment takes about 60 minutes. The price covers four things:
If you like, you can have your lashes done in the same appointment. There is no infill price for lamination, because you simply repeat it once the new hair has grown. All our prices are on the price list.
The main difference is that lamination places your own hair, while microblading draws hair strokes with pigment inside the skin. We don't offer microblading at Migami; we compare them so you can see which one suits your brows.
| Brow lamination | Microblading | |
|---|---|---|
| What it does | Brushes and sets your own hair | Draws pigment strokes in the skin |
| Needles | No | Yes, micro-incisions |
| How long it lasts | 6-8 weeks | Months, fading over time |
| Best for | Brows with misplaced hair | Areas with no hair |
| If you don't like it | It goes as the hair grows | You have to wait or have it removed |
If you have hair, even fine hair, lamination is usually enough and leaves your skin untouched.
For the first 24 hours, don't get your brows wet or put make-up on them, and avoid saunas, swimming pools and intense exercise, because the setting finishes during that time.
After that, brush them upwards every morning with a clean spoolie. The full aftercare, with what makes the effect last longer or shorter week by week, is in our guide on how long brow lamination lasts.
You can have brow lamination and a lash lift on the same day, in one appointment, with the lash lift and lamination offer: €79.90 instead of €99.80. Both treatments last 6 to 8 weeks, so you can repeat them together and come in just once.
We are in Galerías Meritxell, Casa Felipó, 3rd floor, door 7, next to the Pyrénées perfumery. We are open Monday to Saturday from 8:00 to 18:00, by appointment only.
Brow lamination at Migami costs €49.90 and includes brow shaping, threading or tweezing, and tint. You can book your lashes in the same appointment too. The session takes around an hour at our salon on Av. Meritxell in Andorra la Vella.
Brow lamination lasts between 6 and 8 weeks. The set hair stays brushed until it falls out and is replaced by new hair that hasn't been set. Brushing your brows every morning, avoiding steam and water for the first 24 hours and conditioning the hair at night helps it last the full period.
Brow lamination done properly doesn't damage the hair, because the time for each lotion is adjusted to the thickness of your hair. What you should do is leave 6-8 weeks between sessions and not repeat it before the hair has renewed. A nourishing oil at night keeps the hair supple.
Brow lamination covers gaps when there is hair around them that can be directed towards that area. If the area is completely bare, lamination won't create new hair. During the shaping beforehand we look at your brows and tell you what result to expect before we start.
After brow lamination, don't get the area wet, wear make-up on it or apply creams for 24 hours. Avoid saunas, swimming pools and intense exercise that day too, because steam and sweat affect the setting. From the second day you carry on as normal and brush your brows upwards.
